Prestige Drive was founded in 2018 by a group of automotive enthusiasts and hospitality professionals who recognized a gap in Taiwan's rental market. While standard options existed for basic transportation, travelers seeking a more refined experience often found themselves navigating fragmented services and inconsistent quality.
Our founders had spent years working in Taiwan's tourism sector and understood the island's roads intimately. They knew the difference between simply renting a car and providing a comprehensive mobility solution. From the winding routes through Taroko Gorge to the coastal highways of Kenting, they envisioned a service that would transform driving from a logistical necessity into a genuine pleasure.
Starting with a modest fleet of three vehicles and a single office in Taipei's Xinyi District, we focused on attention to detail that larger operators often overlooked.
